Food Technology Department
Department of Biochemical Engineering and Food Technology is one of its one kind offering separate undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in Biochemical Engineering and Food Technology. The curriculum of these programs encompasses latest development in the field as well as present day and future needs of the industry. The department also has the Ph.D. programs in these areas.
Currently Running Projects in Department:
1. Creation of Infrastructural Facilities for HRD in processing analysis of technology of foods sponsored by Ministry of Food Processing Industries Govt. of India New Delhi Cost- Rs. 50/- Lacs.
2. Utilization of whey for production of Instant Energy Beverages by Use of Immobbilize Enzyme Technology sponsored by C.S.T. U.P. cost Rs. 7.9/- Lacs under supervisionof Alak Kumar Singh & Dr. Karunakar Singh.
