Being an institute of national fame and long lasting legacy, H.B.T.I. enjoys prestigious position in institutes and industry and so do its departments. Electronics department has collaboration with I.E.T.E. (Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) a world fame association with members all around the globe. Students of Department are member of this association. The I.E.T.E. student forum is set up in institute. This association also acts as parental association for Technical fest organized by Department.

         The institution of electronics and telecommunication engineers was founded in 1953 by a small group of pioneering practioners of electronics engineering and related disciplines. It is India’s technical/professional society serving more than 40,000 members, both individual and organizations from India and abroad.

         Organizing conferences, symposia, workshops, providing a forum for discussion on national policies, promoting and conducting basic engineering, simulating research and development and giving honor to outstanding professional are some of objectives of the institution.

          The institute fosters advancement of the profession and stimulates its members and other in profession to higher level of accomplishment by recognizing excellence through awards, medals, prizes.
