Brief Introduction of the Department :
The Department of Mathematics has been developed for teaching and research in Applied Mathematics and inter-disciplinary areas.
It is a recognized center for research in C.S.J.M. University, Kanpur and U.P. Technical University, Lucknow. The faculty of the department are actively engaged in research in emerging thrust areas that need attention in todays perspective. Facilities for interdepartmental and interdisciplinary research activities have also been evolved.
The department has an important role to play in ongoing efforts of technological development and to maintain excellence. Apart from academic responsibilities, the department also extends active support in executing administrative assignments for smooth functioning of the Institute.
