HBTI bags 'Best Government Engineering College' in Star News  National B-School Awards - 2011

Harcourt Butler Technological Institute has been honored with Best Government Engineering Collage award by the STAR NEWS National B School Awards. These Awards recognize the institutions that are innovative, modern and industry related in their curriculum in engineering and technology.

On behalf of HBTI, the award was received by Dr. R. K. Khitoliya, Ex Director in a glittering ceremony which was attended by heads of various  Business schools and Enginering Institutes across the country, on 12th February, 2011,at Taj Lands End Hotel, Bandra, Mumbai. The function was presided over by Ashok Venketramani, CEO Star News. Vice Chancellors, Directors, and faculty members of various Universities, Engineering institute and Business Schools attended the ceremony.

The basic objective of these awards is encourage the B Schools and T schools to achieve excellence, to build the future leaders of the country in Higher Education and to bring Institutes at one platform to compete amongst themselves in a positive way. "The awards are well researched and chosen by an independent jury and a panel of professionals who believe in nurturing talent and in recognizing the best of the best," said Dr. R. L. Bhatia, Project Director of the awards adding that these are in recognition of  leadership, development, marketing, innovation and industry interface.
